Fishing Reports
Neely Henry is full of hungry
bass. The spots are out deep on
wood and ledges. Best baits are
crankbaits, c-rigs, and 8"
lizards fished anywhere from
13-22 ft of water. The bigger
largemouth are still hanging up
shallow in the grass. And can be
caught flipping, topwater frogs,
and finesse. Best baits are baby
brush hogs,7" worms, and 8"
lizards.

The fishing on
Neely Henry is really picking
up. The bass are moving shallow,
and a few of the spots have
already moved up on beds.
Fishing worms and jigs in green
pumpkin color around the patches
of grass is the key. Also after
a cold front or muddy water move
to the first point on the inside
of a cove to find your fish
stacked up. Good luck and God
bless
Well winter sure
feels like it is in full swing
on Guntersville. The duck
hunters are everywhere and the
bridges are full with crappie
fisherman. The crappie bite is
going strong as well as a bass
bite on moving baits such as
crankbaits, traps, spinnerbaits. There
are plenty of hungry little fish
out there that will crush a
crankbait in about 5-8 ft of
water. The frog bite is pretty
much dead since all the grass
has died on Guntersville. Just
slow down and cover an area good
once you have caught one or two
and you will have some great
success!!! Good luck and god
bless
Well fall is here and the waters
are cooling a bit. With that the
fish are really feeding up great
in the afternoons when the sun
is out. And topwaters are the
key go to baits right now. The
frog/rat bite is really hot as
well and is producing tons of
big fish everyday. If you want
to take a kid fishing now is the
time there is no shortage of
hungry fish out there this time
of year. Good luck and god
bless!

Fishing on Guntersville is
really Hot right now! With
the hot days and the cod
rain in the afternoons it
can be hit or miss with the
fishing, but mostly a hit.
The jig bite is still very
strong in the afternoons and
topwater is going strong in
the morning. And the Frog
bite that everyone is
waiting for is really
starting to warm up most of
the grass is still way to
thick but the fish are in it
and will hit the frog if you
put it in front of it. Good
luck on the lake and just
have patience and you will
do fine.
It is just amazing how many
4 to 5 pound fish there are
on Lake Guntersville. The
top water bite is still on
just not as good as last
month. But the jig bite has
really picked up strong. The
fish are moved out into the
deeper but thicker grass and
to catch them you just flip
the 1.oz jig into the thick
mat and hang on. For someone
who wants to learn how to
fish the jig now is the
perfect time to book a trip
and learn. Jig fishing is my
favorite and biggest
strength it seems every time
I go and fish a jig I catch
a big one. Good luck to
everyone and god bless. Take
a kid fishing!
April is here and so is the warmer
weather and water. The fish are
really feeding up with the shad
already spawning in the back of
coves and on the river ledges. A lot
of fish are already on bed and those
that are not are just outside the
flats feeding up for their move
shallow.
I have been catching lots of fish on
topwater plugs, and then working the
flats wit ha Senko. I have managed
to catch two over 7 pounds this
week. And if you want to learn how
to sight fish now is the time to go.
I am seeing 5 pounders left and
right. I have already caught over 10
fish off of their beds.
Good luck and god bless.. Wesley "

Guntersville
Guntersville has just been amazing. The topwater
bite is in full swing as the fish are schooling by size. Big worms,
crankbaits, and jigs are working on the ledges and deep. Flipping jigs
and throwing frogs shallow are producing during the heat of the day.
Lets go fishing!!!!
It is a great time
to catch that Giant
fish
of a lifetime.
